Anderson family&#8211;as well as the Blains, Maxwells, Thurmonds, and Lyons&#8211;all refer to an area known as &#8220;Rich Cove.&#8221; From what I can tell from their property deeds in the late 1700s and early 1800s, it was an area south of Charlottesville, Virginia just off of Rt. 29.
