They first practiced the brushstrokes on clear acetate sheets (which were washed off and reused) and then on paper to learn how to accurately &#8220;double load&#8221; their brushes and use the correct amount of &#8220;floating medium.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"314\" height=\"288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.art-rageous.net\/Art-Rageous3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-88.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.art-rageous.net\/Art-Rageous3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-88.png 314w, https:\/\/www.art-rageous.net\/Art-Rageous3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-88-300x275.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"282\" height=\"288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.art-rageous.net\/Art-Rageous3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-89.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1294\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For their final project in this unit, students had to create a gradient background&#8211;in a color of their choice&#8211;on an 8&#215;10 canvas panel.
