As part of a study of the Middle Ages, 5th through 7th grade students created dragons using a tooled-foil technique. After etching their designs into the foil, they painted over them with black waterproof ink, and then used fine steel wool to add highlights. As a final step, they created a border that would enhance their dragon design.
