"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:14

THE WELL

There's a river underground
And a well sits there above it;
Let the bucket down to touch it;
Purest water ever found.

Our family's love is like the river
Flowing through the generations
Through the years with strength and patience,
We've drawn water from the ground.

    And it's never run dry--
    It runs too deep.
    And though we cry
    We have our memories.

Sometimes we have to pull together
For that love to pour around us,
But the One Source Who surrounds us
Gives us Water of His own.

Every river finds its ocean
And we cannot stop the flow;
Drink it up, then let it go
Because the river's going Home.

    And it cannot run dry--
    It runs too deep.
    And in our hearts
    We hold their memories.

There's a river underground
And a Well is there above it.
Draw the bucket up to touch the
Purest water ever found.

Our family's love is like the river
Flowing through the generations;
Through the years, with strength and patience
We've drawn water from the ground.
Draw the bucket up and drink the
Purest Water ever found.
