Name Color Wheels

A part of a unit on Color Theory, students were given the option of designing a complex color wheel or a color wheel in which they used their name. They were required to include primary, secondary and tertiary colors, as well as tints.

They used a protractor to divide a circle into 30 degree segments, and wrote their name--or added a design--to have something in each segment. They painted on 10x10-inch 90# white sulphite paper, using acrylic paint.
