CRYSTAL WOOD, Texas
Crystal Wood lives in Texas with her husband and an assortment of cats, who provided the inspiration for her latest book, Outing the Cat Lady: Embracing Your Feline Addiction wth Style. She also has two contemporary science fiction/fantasy novels and threatens to write another one day. For her day job, which she wisely has not given up, she toils as a freelance graphics artist and book editor. Crystal and her husband work as volunteer transporters for the Texas branch of the Siamese Cat Rescue Alliance. They have traveled across the U.S. and to Scotland, delivering rescued cats to their adoptive homes.

REBEKAH WELLS, England
Rebekah provided the illustrations for Outing the Cat Lady: Embracing Your Feline Addiction wth Style. Her website is currently under construction, but check out the work she already has online!

MARIE MEAD, Virginia
Marie Mead is the author of Rabbits: Gentle Hearts, Valiant Spirits: Inspirational Stories of Rescue, Triumph, and Joy. Her formal education was in teaching and counseling psychology and her employment experiences have nurtured her love of nature, adventure, and travel. Marie's work as a technical writer--and the research and writing of environmental articles--brought her back into closer attunement with nature. Abandoned and abused animals have influenced her growth, and she credits them with awakening her concerns regarding animal ethics and welfare. You can learn more about Marie's work and philosophy by visiting her website: www.celebratingrabbits.com

KAYE BRAMBLETT, New York City
Kaye is an aspiring actress, who has appeared in several independent films, a handful of TV commercials and stage productions, and an internet serial. Her film, "A Trip to the Planetarium" is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2007, and she is presently wrapping production on two other films. She will also be providing the background accordion music for the film, “Eliot Rocket,” which is currently in post-production. Kaye’s “day job” is as a Special Education teacher in the NYC Public School System, and she is proud to call herself a “Crazy Cat Woman.”

ANNETTE CURTIS KLAUSE, Maryland
Annette Curtis Klause lives in the Maryland suburbs with her husband and six cats, but in her mind, she romances vampires, goes back to the 19th century to rescue human oddities, runs under the moon with a werewolf pack, and travels to the stars. You can join her, too.

Annette's book, "Blood and Chocolate", was made into a major motion picture, which opened in theaters in January 2007.

Annette and I share a love of Siamese cats. We first met a few years ago at the Siamese Rescue Center in Virginia, after getting to know each other through cat-related message boards. She's a fun, funny, multifaceted woman and book sales help to keep her kitties in kibble!
